Well my journey in this part of the world is over (sad face).

If I had one word to describe my trip to Africa it would be - 'Awesome'. Although only one word isn't enough. You have probably noticed that I enjoyed my trip immensely; some of it has been so incredible there are no words to do it justice!

It was real, and I did it - without the journey there is no reward - awesome!!!!

I am flying back to Australia, arriving in Sydney later on Friday. I'll be back on my home turf in Adelaide on Saturday. I am looking forward to catching up with you all soon.

For now, Chisarai zvakanaka - that's goodbye in Shona (the African language spoken by Alisa and her family - there are so many different languages in Africa).
